He got beaten by a frog!

They say that insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results.

Well, I don’t know about you, but it seems insanity is much more common that we might think!  We take the same streets to school or work at the same time every day – in the middle of the regular traffic jam that’s always there to greet us – and wonder why we’re always late.  We eat the same foods and stay active in the same ways and then look in the mirror to see how much thinner, or stronger, or more magnificent we look today.  Crazy, huh?

How many things can you think of that you do now or have done before that are like this?  Or should I even ask?

Believe it or not, in order to really begin to feel some changes you actually have to start making some.  And one of the fundamental and effective changes to make is in the way you think.

Changing your life’s perspectives or tossing out ideas and ideals that you’ve been hanging onto for way too long may seem like an incredibly daunting task.  But what if I told you some of these things can happen in a matter of seconds?  (Later on you’ll be able to start figuring out how to do that.  Be sure to check back here again.)

As with anything else in life, the more we do something, the better we get at it.  And the less we have to think about what has to happen with each step of the way.

So here’s a challenge for you to begin waking up those slouching-in-the-corner brain cells and getting your mind to function without you having to work so hard.

To be quite honest, I haven’t figured this out completely yet, but I’m still working on it!  I’d really love to hear from you if you can do it.  I don’t want to know the secret, but I’ll certainly take a hint. ;)

And be sure to check out the heading at the top of this challenge.  That by itself will really begin to get you moving to the beat of a different drum!

Hmm..a time (or should I say timeS) when I’ve done things the same way over and over again and expected different results? Procrastinating studying for calculus tests and acting shocked when I receive the same mark on each one… :-/

I wonder… Does procrastinating studying for calculus tests have anything to do with trying to beat a frog? ;)

  7. Beating a frog?! Why, I have no idea what you’re talking about! :D
